Project Description

Pittstown Inn

Pittstown, New Jersey

The Pittstown Inn has been serving customers since 1786. The Inn was rebuilt after a 1913 fire left only the stone walls standing. Ninety years later, it was time to reconstruct the entire first floor, including the wooden kitchen wing, the bar, dining areas, bathrooms, and wooden floors. We also restored the historic two-story exterior porch and seamlessly integrated handicap access.

The renovation was recognized with the 2004 Donald B. Jones Award, given by the Hunterdon County Planning Board for completed projects that significantly contribute to the preservation of Hunterdon County’s historical or rural heritage.
